Prior to becoming a RD, I used my journalism & communications background as a fact checker at Hearst Magazines. It was here where I developed my love for nutrition and the ability to translate confusing (and often contradicting!) health information into practical, usable guidance.
I hold a master’s degree in nutrition & dietetics from New York University, which is also where I completed my dietetic internship.
My own personal journey with stubborn GI issues and an autoimmune condition has allowed me to become a relatable and empathetic clinician. As a dietitian, I’ve worked in the inpatient, private practice, and tele-health settings specializing in weight management, disease prevention, hormone + gut health, pediatrics + adolescents, and culinary nutrition.
My real passion lies within the kitchen creating and cooking easy, nourishing meals and testing out new food product finds. I am your go-to for everything from easy breakfast ideas to favorite snack brands.
Outside of the kitchen, you can probably find me at a barre class or on a dog walk in sunny California with my Australian Labradoodle, Winston.
